DESCRIPTION
Hi there! I'm looking for someone to take over the lease of my lovely Crown Heights apartment for an immediate move-in. It's a ground-floor, street-facing studio in a secure, beautiful modern building, right at Franklin Ave and Bergen. The rent has been paid through the end of September, and I'm hoping to find the right person to take over the lease through April 2021. Please feel free to reach out if you have any questions.

-Near a ton of beautiful coffee shops / restaurants / bars on Franklin Ave.

-A 10-minute walk to the 2/3/4 or C trains.

-Central AC and heat!

-Newly renovated hardwood floor!

-Pet-friendly! I've lived here for over a year with my dog and cat.

-Modern kitchen with lots of cabinet space and a dishwasher!

-Building has bike storage, key fob front door with virtual doorman, and roof access.

-No broker fees, this unit's being rented by the owner – there are 8 months left on the lease with the option to continue the lease with the landlord after.

-20-minute walk to Prospect Park!

Let me know if you have any questions, and thanks so much for taking a look!

CROWN HEIGHTS

Off the east side of Prospect Park in Central Brooklyn lies the diverse and lively neighborhood of Crown Heights. Mostly residential, this neighborhood also boasts a vibrant nightlife and restaurant scene that makes the area popular with young adults.

Fun Facts and History of Crown Heights

Crown Heights began its life a bit later than most Brooklyn neighborhoods, becoming a residential area only after the revolutionary war. However, once it got going in the early 1800's, it quickly became a haven for secondary homes of the wealthy King's County elite. This popularity only increased when train lines were extended to the area in the late 1800's.

While many of those older Victorian homes are still around, brownstone row houses were built in the early 1900's to thrust the area into the modern day. Around the 1950's Crown Heights began to see an influx of diversity with large populations of black and immigrant communities moving into the neighborhood.

The 1970's were a turbulent time…
