DESCRIPTION
We have a one bedroom available in a 4 bedroom, 3 floor loft. The apartment itself is amazing, with 12 foot windows looking out onto the world of Bleecker Street. The current lovely and sociable occupants are two males and two females with varying careers in tech, hospitality, fashion, and general services. One of the males is moving out in early April and we are looking to replace him sometime in April (male or female). There's laundry in the building.

We all have different schedules, so often times it will seem like you are the only person living here. The apartment is a block from the B D F M and 6, a 5 minute walk to the R / W, and a 5 minute bike ride / 10 min walk to the A C E (there's a Citi bike dock right outside of the apartment). The grocery store is one block away, and Whole Foods is just a 7 minute walk. A block from SoHo, a few blocks to Bowery / East Village, and three blocks from Washington Square Park. Bottom line: there is absolutely no better location in the entirety of New York City.

If interested, email or text to set up an appointment.

Fun Facts and History of Greenwich Village

Greenwich Village was not originally part of New York City. Dutch Settlers and a formerly enslaved black population, liberated after the first legal protest to take place in America, used the land for tobacco farms. After New Netherlands was conquered by the British in 1664, they left Greenwich as its own hamlet, separate from New York City.

The name "Greenwich" first appears in NYC city records in 1713, meaning it was likely incorporated into the rest of the city around that time. After the American Revolution, Greenwich was the site of multiple city facilities such as…
