I have an open room to sublet in my lovely Brooklyn apartment starting Jan 1st to the end of the lease in September!
It's the biggest room in the apartment, can fit a queen sized bed+furniture and has tons of natural light. Can come furnished if you'd like to buy the furniture too! We're right around the corner from the Myrtle-Broadway JMZ trains, 20 minutes to downtown Manhattan. The building is newly rennovated, super secure, laundry in building, and dishwasher in unit.
Roomates would be myself (NYU grad student and working in healthcare) and another totally awesome girl in her mid 20s who is a working professional! Rent is 1050 and utilities run 60-80 a month

Surrounded by Williamsburg, Bedford-Stuyvesant, Ridgewood
Queens, East New York and Brownsville, Bushwick is a trendy area
beloved by artists and young professionals. With a hopping
nightlife and some great restaurants, it's no wonder why people
love this neighborhood.
Some of the roads traversed by hipsters and artists on their
bikes today are trails cut by Native Americans. Taken over by the
Dutch, the land became food and tobacco farms, and then
transitioned into an industrial hotspot in the 1800's.
The factories of Bushwick primarily produced sugar, oil, and
various chemicals. These factories brought many immigrants,
especially German ones, to the neighborhood. These immigrants
opened many breweries and Bushwick was soon named as the "beer
capital of the Northeast."
During the late 1800's, Bushwick garnered more of an Italian
population as well, though industry still dominated the
neighborhood until after WWII, when many of the factories…
