DESCRIPTION
Modern 3BR 2BA Duplex for rent with Roofdeck, W/D ,and Parking in Columbia Waterfront
Waterfront Luxury with Parking! With Panoramic views of New York Harbor, this custom built, 3 Bedroom, 2 Bath Duplex with 2 outdoor spaces and 2 parking spots will leave you in awe. Peering through handcrafted, 18' wide windows from your Grand Living Room, you can see from Roosevelt Island to Lower Manhattan and watch as an everchanging seascape of cruise ships, ferries and sailboats drift by. If this isn't enough, you have a private 550' roof deck with water, power and LED perimeter lighting for sunset barbecues and 360 vista.
Within minutes is Brooklyn Bridge Park.
The unit itself is a brand-new renovation from the bottom up with modern amenities too numerous to list: No expense was spared, no detail overlooked.
Custom window and door work, "tilt & turn" casement windows that can be fully opened, inviting sea breezes through. Interior walls have "2 way" glass that toggle between opaque for nighttime privacy or clear for daytime sunshine, allowing for waterfront views from the rear of the apartment. Transom windows are above interior doors for free flow of air. Even the entrance opens to a 22' Atrium topped by two operable skylights, so the interior is bathed in light all day long.
The layout is sublime, and the second floor Grand Hall is the Crown Jewel. Soaring ceilings, the 18' window system, skylights flooding the room with light and the first of two Wood burning fireplaces will be the envy of all who enter. Climate is controlled by a separate Mitsubishi air handler.
An expanse of Maple flooring leads to your Master Bedroom with en suite bath. Large enough to fit a King, there's floor to ceiling closets and Eastern facing windows to allow the morning light to stream in. The windowed bathroom is top of the line and features a deep soaking tub, a separate tiled shower enclosure, custom vanity with marble top and stunning Marble floors.
The first floor continues with the open concept as you enter the Atrium, with the second Wood burning Fireplace leading to the brand new Chef's Kitchen. Custom made floor-to-ceiling Maple cabinets were designed with storage and convenience in mind. The set of full sized, stainless steel appliances - Bosch range and dishwasher, Liebherr refrigerator with dual freezer drawers and a Bosch vented microwave - make cooking for family and friends a breeze.
There's a private balcony just outside the glass panel door. Two bedrooms are on this level as well, each with their own magnificent view of the Harbor. The second bathroom's here for your convenience ā no need to run up and down stairs all day ā and it's a match to its sister upstairs with a Deep soaking tub/shower combination and same exquisite tile work. Next to the bath is your personal laundry room, a MUST for modern living.
This is truly a unique opportunity to live in a one-of-a-kind home.

after neighborhoods in the borough.
When Cobble Hill was colonized by the Dutch, the area was used
as farmland and a fort. The fort would stay standing throughout the
American Revolution, and was one of the places George Washington
retreated to after the Battle of Long Island.
Cobble Hill was made part of Brooklyn in 1834. In the 1850's,
Brooklyn became extremely popular, and Cobble Hill built a ton of
row houses that are still standing to this day. By the 1880's,
Cobble Hill was packed with middle and upper class residents.
Cobble Hill escaped most of the negative moments NYC faced
during the 20th century. An influx of immigrants kept the
neighborhood afloat during the depression and a revitalization
