We are looking for a roommate to move into a bedroom in our 3 bed/3 bathroom house in the Arverne neighborhood of Rockaway Beach, Queens.  You would have your own bathroom (right next to your room).

Bedroom is small but can easily fit a queen size bed, plus other stuff:). Has a good sized closet in room, window, and you will have your own bathroom with bathtub/shower right next to the bedroom. Room is approximately 10.25 feet x 11.25 feet.

Internet and utilities are included in rent.
Shared spaces are:  Living room/Dining Room, Kitchen, Side Patio.

Must like dogs!  There are two bigger dogs already living in the house - they are very sweet (a husky and a husky/lab mix) - but you would have to be mindful of living with dogs (not leaving food out / keeping bathroom and bedroom door closed) and be ok with them sharing the living room/kitchen space.

Sorry, no cats or couples :)

*Room in the backyard for storage of bike, surf board, etc.
*Shared side patio where you can grow stuff
*Always plenty of street parking in neighborhood
*Arverne is a great area - we are technically "bay side" but it is only a 5 min bike ride to the beach
*Awesome places to eat and drink in the neighborhood - Rockaway Brewing Co, Super Burrito, Locals, Wine shop, Claudette's, and a giant Stop & Shop.
*3 Blocks from the A train
*Daily Ferry service to Wall Street

Rockaway is the best in the off season!

Other two roommates are women in their 30's - we have a pretty chill, quiet house - we try to keep guests in the shared spaces at a minimum (and at zero during Coronavirus peak times). Definitely not a party house.  We like to keep things tidy in the shared spaces.  This is a non-smoking home.

The apartment is a unit offered at a monthly price of $900. The manager specfically mentions dogs are allowed but strangely has not mentioned cats. It may be an oversight or the building may really not allow cats. We recommend inquiring about the specifics of the pet policy.. This is a No Fee apartment, meaning the manager or agent should not ask you for a broker fee (there may still be deposits and other move-in fees paid to the landlord).
