DESCRIPTION
1 Bedroom/1 Bathroom with floor to ceiling windows that flood the apartment with light. The windows face north with a partial view of the Brooklyn Bridge. The building is only a few years old so everything in the apartment is new, including the appliances, fixtures, bathroom, floors. Track lighting, central air and in-unit laundry make everything easy. The location is also great - located on a cobble stone street right in the middle of all of the shops and restaurants in Dumbo and walking distance from Brooklyn Bridge Park. There is also a 24-hour doorman, package room, cold storage, bike room, gym and stunning rooftop that looks over the East River with views of both bridges.

This can be either a lease assignment or a sublet from Oct 15 (flexible move-in date) to May 15th. There will be an option to sign a new 12-month lease with the management company after the sublet is up. Additionally, if you would prefer to sign a 12-month lease with the management company starting as early as Oct 1, that is also an option at $4,245. If subletting, price is also negotiable.

While this dream never really took off, DUMBO was a popular port neighborhood for those traveling from Manhattan to Brooklyn.

Factories began popping up around the mid 1800's and DUMBO became a place of industry for the next few decades. DUMBO was known for innovation as well, especially in 1890 when the cardboard box was invented there. DUMBO would remain largely industrial, even after World War II.
