I am a 24-year-old woman, originally from Brooklyn and currently a 2nd-year medical student @ Columbia (Washington Heights campus). I spend the vast majority of my waking hours either studying (with a preference for doing it in a cafe) or in the hospital/clinic. Generally, a night owl but tend to keep to myself in my room and super quiet. Overall I am super laidback but my workload is pretty high so generally, everything revolves around that. I may occasionally go out to get drinks and dinners with friends, but rarely bring guests home. I cook pretty often as it is also a hobby of mine and I don't mind if my roommate uses all my kitchen gadgets (I have things like a mandolin, pasta maker, food processor, immersion blender, kitchen scale etc) as long as you return them in the same condition.

Harlem is enormous. Stretching from the East and Harlem Rivers all the way to the Hudson, Harlem has three micro-neighborhoods that make up this huge area. Fun Facts and History of Harlem

Harlem is so huge that each spot has its own unique history. For example, West and Central Harlem were burned to the ground during the American Revolution, whereas East Harlem wasn't really developed until the 1860's. However, one fact remains consistent for all of Harlem: That the population of the area exploded once a prominent Black neighborhood was destroyed to make room for Central Park.

The Harlem Renaissance began around WWI and the cultural impact the neighborhood would have on the world began. Becoming a major player in the worlds of art, literature, music, and civil rights, Harlem became a mecca for…

RENTHOP DESCRIPTION
The apartment is a unit offered at a monthly price of $1,050. The manager specfically mentions dogs are allowed but strangely has not mentioned cats. It may be an oversight or the building may really not allow cats. We recommend inquiring about the specifics of the pet policy.. This is a No Fee apartment, meaning the manager or agent should not ask you for a broker fee (there may still be deposits and other move-in fees paid to the landlord).
