ABOUT THE BUILDING:
Welcome to 57 Grand Street! You're right at the waterfront in PRIME Williamsburg, and no further than a block from Brooklyn's most famous bars and restaurants! Gut renovated in December, the building lives up to it's name with a grand facade and classic interior that cleans up nicely with exposed brick, hand-picked dense-oak, and brick tiled bathrooms with water closets. Tenants can not only enjoy washer/dryers in their units, but also unparalleled unobstructed views of the Manhattan skyline. 57 Grand stands above the rest, and with super-easy access to the L-train at Bedford Avenue – you're only 5 minutes outside Manhattan and the rest of Brooklyn!
ABOUT THE NEIGHBORHOOD:
Williamsburg is known for its artists, nightlife, bars, and restaurants--weekends are amazing in this neighborhood that never seems to sleep! There are vintage markets to visit -- like Artists and Fleas -- beer-infused painting sessions at BYOB Painting Workshop, a lineup of food stalls at Smorgasburg on the Williamsburg waterfront, and the famous Brooklyn Art Library, where artists from around the world fill sketchbooks with their work so others may wander in and enjoy it. In Williamsburg, having a good time really is as simple as walking out the front door! This building is steps away from Bedford Avenue's vibrant bars/restaurants/nightlife/retail, and a walk along the East River. Is steps from the J, M, and Z trains and a short walk from the L & G trains--right next to the BQE Expressway, which can take you anywhere in Brooklyn or Manhattan in minutes!

population grew fast. It became the Town of Williamsburg in 1840,
and evolved again into the City of Williamsburg in 1855. However,
Williamsburg was soon incorporated into Brooklyn that same
year.
Once Brooklyn became part of New York City in 1898, more
transportation options were added, making Williamsburg very
popular, especially among immigrant populations. Post-WWII, it
