DESCRIPTION
Hey y'all!
I'm looking for someone to fill my room in Bed-Stuy, literally just feet away from the Bedford-Nostrand G stop. It's part of a 4 bedroom / 1 bath apartment. Lease options are negotiable with the landlord. This has been a great place for me because roommates are great and quiet, it's affordable, and the location makes travel super easy.
ROOM: small/medium sized room that fits my full-sized bed, nightstand, and dresser comfortably. It gets natural light from the window, and the closet is medium as well. It has built-in heating for the winter that works very well. I never had to put it above the middle setting because it really cranked out the heat.
ROOMMATES: 2 guys/1 girl. Everyone is super chill, nice, and quiet. We all have different morning schedules too, so there's rarely ever been any issues with sharing the bathroom. I've been there for nearly a year, and literally I've had to wait fewer than 10 times. You'll have your own kitchen cabinet for groceries, and there's plenty of other kitchen space too.
NOISE LEVEL: Everybody is pretty quiet and private. There isn't a living room, so there aren't any parties or anything going on here. It's really ideal for someone on the Brooklyn hustle that's just looking for a cheap place to crash and leave their stuff.
BUILDING: It's a 4th floor walkup (so up three flights of stairs), and the stairs go up to the roof (so no fire escape climbing). The roof is actually pretty sick and has a mad decent view. People love to hang out up there during nice weather, and it's one of my favorite things about the place.
LOCATION: Again, you'll be literally probably 50 yards or so away from the Bedford-Nostrand G. Laundry is just around the corner. There are lots of nice cafe's and bars around, and it's only two blocks away from the incredible Dough Doughnuts AND a Home Depot đź‘Ś the B44 and B38 buses bus also run on this block, which makes Brooklyn travel really easy. With the impending L-pocolypse, being right on the G and having reliable buses is going to be really helpful. I work in the East Village, and my commute is only 30 minutes despite having two transfers.
Email me with any questions or to schedule a viewing. Thanks!

BEDFORD-STUYVESANT
Commonly known as "Bed-Stuy", this densely populated
neighborhood in Brooklyn is a busy residential and commercial area.
Surrounded by Clinton Hill, Crown Heights, Bushwick and
Willaimsburg, the neighborhood has an easy commute to Manhattan and
typically offers lower rent than its neighbors, making this a
popular place for young professionals and students. Those looking
to rent in this neighborhood can expect to find their home on
beautifully tree-lined, brownstone filled streets.
Bedford-Stuyvesant is actually made up of several
micro-neighborhoods. One of them, Stuyvesant Heights, takes its
name from the last Governor of the Dutch colony of New Amsterdam,
Peter Stuyvesant. The other half of the name, Bedford, comes from
one of the first major colonies in New Amsterdam. While Bedford was
a major settlement, Stuyvesant Heights was largely farmland, and
that was the relationship between the two settlements until after
the Revolutionary…
