Listing description:
I have honestly lost track of the times I've bragged to people about this apartment (ask my girlfriend, she'll tell you haha). I've become friends with my barista at the coffee shop in the lobby, on chilly summer nights, I've curled up by the rooftop fireplaces, and I've had friends over countless times to play pingpong in the courtyard or watch a football game with pizza in the games room. The neighbourhood is fantastic, with tons of cool coffee shops, restaurants, and possibly the best sushi in the city only a quick walk away. My tip for the next renter? Grab a city bike for $3 and explore the neighbourhood by bike! The best hidden gem in the city is probably right around the corner.

The factories of Bushwick primarily produced sugar, oil, and
various chemicals. These factories brought many immigrants,
especially German ones, to the neighborhood. These immigrants
opened many breweries and Bushwick was soon named as the "beer
capital of the Northeast."
During the late 1800's, Bushwick garnered more of an Italian
population as well, though industry still dominated the
neighborhood until after WWII, when many of the factories…
