DESCRIPTION
I am leaving my lovely bedroom in the EV. The apartment was recently renovated with some cool wood details, and there is exposed brick in every room. This is a two bed with bedrooms on the opposite ends of the apartment. The bedroom fits a full bed and has a MASSIVE walk in closet.
The area is so great - two minutes from the L, 15 minutes walk to union sq., ten minute walk to Astor place and two blocks from Tompkins Sq. Park. They have shut down ave. B for pedestrians, so it's great to walk thru all the outdoor dining/bars.
You would be taking over my portion of the lease which is signed through September. The management company is great, and has addressed any questions we've ever had really fast.
You would be living with a male roommate (30ish) who is extremely kind, communicative and fun. He likes movies and cooking...We both are diligent about staying healthy during the pandemic, and take appropriate precautions. We keep the place clean and I have not seen any bugs! Must be clean, considerate and LGBT friendly.
I am looking to move either mid Jan, or Feb 1. LMK if you are interested - we can discuss a COVID friendly way to view the place!
Thanks!

EAST VILLAGE
The East Village is a buzzing hub of youthful energy and
activity, boasting bookstores, cafes, galleries, and hip bars.
Situated between 3rd avenue and the East River, with 14th street to
the north and Houston to the south, this neighborhood is both
stylish and laid back. Once the most vibrant art scene in NYC, it
remains a trendy neighborhood to the avant-garde while also
boasting a much more polished edge, complete with luxury condos,
franchised coffee shops, and plenty of lunch spots.
Like most of New York, the East Village started out as farmland.
Until the early 1960s, the East Village was just the northern tip
of the Lower East Side, largely occupied by German and Ukrainian
working class immigrants. However, the Beat movement made its roots
in the East Village in the 1950's and paved the way for the influx
of the counterculture scene of the 60s.
Since then, the art scene of the East Village exploded with
series like Andy Warhol's…
