DESCRIPTION
Large two bedroom (junior 4) in Riverdale right by the bus and train.  Apartment is located in an extremely clean building with two wings (East and West - this apartment is on the East side).  It is two floors up from the main entry floor and three from the basement (registered as the 4th floor).  There is free garbage, recycling and large product disposal as a part of the building.  Water is free as is the heat and gas for the stove.  Utilities required:  Conedison would you be your responsibility.  Apartment opens into a large foyer/dining room with a recessed wall space to hang a t.v. or pictures or books.  The main hallway has a large closet as well with a ceiling fan.  The galley kitchen is off the dining area and leads to the smaller bedroom.  The smaller bedroom can support two twin beds (L shaped), bunk bed, or one full size bed.  The smaller bedroom has two doors, a window and excellent lighting.  The smaller bedroom leads to the living room area which is larger than most over 13 feet long and over 12 feet wide.  Living room is two steps down from the dining room and the smaller bedroom.  The lighting supports two large side windows and all the plants you could want to grow.  The living room has a pre-attached support for an air conditioning unit (as do both bedrooms).  Floors are hard wood and walls are plaster and currently painted white (open to alternative colors at tenants desire as long as approval is sought prior to painting).  Living leads back into the dining area that sports a door that can be open or closed to the rest of the apartment making multiple dwellers possible or even a family with small children who want the bedroom area kept quiet at night.  

The door leads to a long hallway big enough to support a day bed, a study area, a craft area, or even a wardrobe.  The hallway is capped with two immensely large closets with ample storage space (they are long, high, and deep).

The hallway ends with the bathroom.  All tiled with separated sink, large iron tub, small window with screen, and a toilet.

The hallway also is the lead into the large bedroom mimicking a size similar to the living room sporting two large windows (leading to the fire escape).  Both windows are heavily guarded with openable and lockable gates.  The bedroom has his and her closets again super huge size.

Additional details:

Larger bedroom:  multiple outlets, one controlled by light switch, ceiling fan, high ceilings, great noise protection from the rest of the apartment, hard wood floors, massive closets, space for bed, desk, dresser, and couch with room to spare.  Room has previously supported multiple children, single occupancy, adult couple, adult couple and child, so there is no issue with space in this apartment.

Bathroom:  Tub is sizable and will support a person over 6'.  Super soaker.  Hot water is amazing - never a cold shower in this apartment.  Sink is separated so despite being a smaller bathroom, you can enjoy privacy while bathing.  There is no vent but the window provides excellent ventilation for the bathroom and can support a window fan if requested.

Closets:  The apartment has five closets of abnormal size that can serve as seasonal storage and large enough to store sporting equipment and clothing etc.

Smaller bedroom:  Albeit smaller it has supported two sets of bunk beds comfortably.  It provides easy access to the rest of the apartment with excellent lighting.  it can also serve as a study area with privacy due to the doors and also can hold a dresser and or smaller wardrobe.  Outlets are in the room and support multiple plugs.

Living room:  Large enough to divide into multiple living spaces.  Multiple outlets. Lighting beyond imagination.  Huge pre-war windows to sport long flowing curtains or sleek shades almost ceiling to floor.  Walls can support hanging T.V. and large mirrors (has been tested).  Sunken living room.

Kitchen:  Stove with vent, new fridge, dishwasher and enough room to add an additional kitchen workspace.  Multiple cabinets, too much storage.  Basic sink but with excellent lighting for plants.  Multiple outlets with no issues supporting multiple appliances.

Dining area:  Can occupy a dining table to seat 10+.  Has served as an additional seating area, work area, dining area, large foyer, or whatever you'd like.

Current wall color is white but open for tenant choice if they wish to paint (with approval).

Currently the apartment is partially furnished and the kitchen has basic amenities.  If tenant wishes to rent it as such, it is available.  If not arrangements will be made to clear the space.

Anything you can imagine is in this part of Riverdale but if you need more access you can walk down W231st to the whole of what NYC has to offer.  10 minutes to Target and other major shopping and easy access to 87, Saw Mill and the GW Bridge.

Excellent schools for all ages and great for students attending local universities/colleges.  Walkable to Manhattan College, a quick train/bus ride to Columbia and all upper Manhattan schools.

Apartment has had one owner for the last 20 years and one tenant previously.  It was that well loved.
