DESCRIPTION
Spacious private bedroom in East Village just steps from the new Ave A L train. Ready for move in November 1st. $2400/month and includes all utilities and internet/wifi. Bedroom is 1 of 2 rooms in the apartment however I'm very rarely in nyc anymore for work so would only be around maybe twice a month just to sleep.

The bedroom is large and can fit a full bed perfectly(pictured) or a queen along with desk and dressers. Kitchen is large and so is the living room. A lot of furnishings available if desired or can be cleared out for move in.

Perfect for a couple or single person who wants some extra space. Apartment gets a lot of light and has windows in every room. Window air conditioner already installed.  Citibikes available right outside the building. Tree lined quiet street. Apt is above a laundry service which is super convenient.

When I'm not home(95% of the time) my room will remain locked and the larger bedroom and apartment will be completely yours. You will always receive notice when I will be staying the night, I promise no surprise visits!

Apartment building is historical and does have a tenement style bathtub/shower in the kitchen. However, since this apartment will be almost exclusively yours you will have full privacy with the shower/bath.

Once the most vibrant art scene in NYC, it remains a trendy neighborhood to the avant-garde while also boasting a much more polished edge, complete with luxury condos, franchised coffee shops, and plenty of lunch spots.

Fun Facts and History of East Village

Until the early 1960s, the East Village was just the northern tip of the Lower East Side, largely occupied by German and Ukrainian working class immigrants. However, the Beat movement made its roots in the East Village in the 1950's and paved the way for the influx of the counterculture scene of the 60s.

Since then, the art scene of the East Village exploded with series like Andy Warhol's…
