Looking for Someone to Take Over the Lease in our Park Slope Apartment from April 1st-January 31st, 2019

Apartment · 1 Bathroom · 3 Bedrooms - Hardwood Floors

This sunny 3 bedroom apartment is on 5th Ave in Park Slope, between Prospect Pk and Park Place, near Barclays center is in a great location, just a few minutes to the 2,3,4,5,and QNR trains.

Location is near several laundromats, good restaurants, Target, gyms, coffee shops, etc. If you have a car, parking is not too bad and the car only has to be moved once a week. You can also have two working window A/C units if you like. We are also open to discussion on selling any household furniture you're interested in once you see that place. (Gas, Electric and Internet not included.)

We've been super happy here, but have to leave our lease before it's over. Two roommates have been splitting the rent and each pay $1,575, but there are three bedrooms, so you are welcome to split between three roommates. One room is rather small, but it has its own private entrance, and you can divide rent however you like! The landlords are really reasonable and attentive. They would just want confirmation that anyone on the lease is gainfully employed (pay stubs will suffice.) You'd have the option to renew for February 2020!

Message me if you're interested and you can set up a time to see the place. Just know we're moving so there may be some boxes! :)

SUNSET PARK

On the west side of Brooklyn below Greenwood Heights, Sunset Park is a bustling and diverse community. With tons of places to shop, eat, and drink, this neighborhood is popular with both residents and tourists alike.

Fun Facts and History of Sunset Park

First settled in 1636 and fully settled in 1640, Sunset Park was one of the first Dutch settlements of New Amsterdam. Once the British took over in 1664, the area was split so half was part of Brooklyn and the other half was part of New Utrecht. The shore was used as a major port, especially during the American Revolution.

Due to Sunset Park's location, the area remained mostly farmland while other parts of Brooklyn were modernizing in the early to mid 1800's. Once the Green-Wood Cemetery opened in the 1840's, it drew large crowds, prompting ferry service from Manhattan and encouraging growth in the area.

A building boom, starting in the late 1800's, drew scores of people to the area. Subway lines were added, resulting in the…
