The beautiful Albany Park neighborhood is one of the most
diverse in Chicago and is located in the northwest side. Situated
to the west of Ravenswood and encompassing Ravenswood manor,
apartment hunters will enjoy the balance of city and suburb life
that Albany Park offers. The area continues to grow despite growth
regression in Chicago. There's easy access to downtown via the CTA
Brown and Blue line 'L' trains as well as Metra Rail, and I-90/94
on the western border.
Affordable apartments in Albany Park can be found quite easily,
with many one-bedroom rentals available for less than $1,000 and
two-bedrooms for around $1,300. Buildings are generally midrise and
multi-family homes without fancy amenities but some have yards.
Larger three and up-bedroom apartment rentals usually are well
under $2,000 a month.
In 1893, several investors settled this area south of the
existing Northeastern University. One of them was from Albany, New
York…

The apartment is a unit offered at a monthly price of $1,285. The manager allows pet cats but does not seem to allow dogs. As always, you should ask as early in the process as possible if you have any questions regarding the pet policy.
