Sanctorium studio available immediately for rent. Situated on a quiet tree-lined street in the heart of Yorkville. Real oak-flooring, fresh paint, a bathroom with a full-size tub and a renovated kitchen. The building has an elevator and newly installed machines located in the basement. Outdoor enthusiasts will be thrilled with the proximity to Carl Schurz Park and the East River Esplanade's John Finley Walk. Yorkville is where the sun shines so bright it feels like planet Mercury. On evenings over York Avenue's rolling hills, the moon in any of its phases outshines Gotham's Bat-signal. Centered by York Avenue, the alpha-sibling of the York Avenue/Sutton Place/Avenue A triumvirate. Advantage commuter, transportation options are endless. Served by the Second Avenue subway, featuring the Q-train and the M-train on nights and weekends. Both trekking straphangers to all corners of the city. Seafarers will delight over the newly-installed NYC ferry. Shoving-off from the 90th Street Pier and arriving on Wall Street in 28 minutes. There are alternatives for those who prefer to stay above ground and on land. The 86th Street express bus meets crosstown voyage needs and the #31-bus swiftly takes passengers down York Avenue and across the 57th Street billionaires' corridor. With close proximity to the FDR, you will find drivers of Uber, Lyft, Via and yellow cabs are standing by 24/7. Fitness aficionados, Yorkville is your oyster with more than a dozen yoga studios in the vicinity, a short stroll to 2 Equinox', SoulCycle E83, CrossFit Upper East Side, Asphalt Green, a plethora of private gyms, several boxing and kickboxing studios. Not to mention an avant-garde network of fitness trainers in Carl Schurz Park and Central Park. Gourmand and gastronome needs will also be met nearby via Whole Foods, the 86th Street Fairway, Eli's Market and A Matter of Health. The avenues of Yorkville are lined with restaurants, coffee shops, cafes, diners, more restaurants and a rivalry of sweet shops that makes the Jets vs. Sharks feud look like a play date.

UPPER EAST SIDE

The Upper East Side has a reputation of wealth and opulence. Once home to the wealthiest New Yorkers (like the Kennedys, the Roosevelts, and the Rockefellers), the UES is filled with ornate and beautiful buildings. Today, the Upper East Side is still considered one of the more expensive neighborhoods, however, in recent years, it has begun to see younger arrivals (people in their 20s and 30s) who are finding better deals up north, away from the Lower East Side and/or hip Williamsburg.

With the completion of the 2nd Avenue train, the neighborhood is only becoming more accessible to everyone as previously the only train servicing the UEW was the 4,5,6 on Lexington Avenue. Even better, the further east you go, the cheaper the apartments get. All this is only adding on to the interest from renters who no longer have to commute for as long to get to the area.

Boundaries of Upper East Side

The Upper East Side contains some smaller neighborhoods such as Yorkville, Lenox Hill, Carnegie…
