DESCRIPTION
Hi,

This is a renovated (brand new kitchen) quiet 2-bedroom apartment (both rooms have a closet and can easily fit a queen sized bed) with the smaller room (10 feet 2 inches by 8 feet 1 inch) best used as an office / child's room / guest room,...

Located half a block from prospect park and 15 St-Prospect Park subway station with F and G lines, this quiet building is on a tree-lined street on the southern end of historic park slope where restaurants, coffee shops, and cute stores abound; oh and there is a Nitehawk cinema finally open only a block away :)

We're leaving New York and are not taking anything with us apart from a large suitcase each, we are therefore open to you moving in with all the furniture and decor intact, or we could also remove some or all of the items for you. This includes a folding couch, queen sized bed and its frame (both bought new in August 2020), 2 ACs, a smart TV, a dresser, an office desk and chair, a TV stand, kitchenware, most of the decoration,... Details of what you'd like to keep or toss can be ironed out later.

Our lease is up end of July and the landlord is open to either a lease takeover with possibility to extend for a year, OR a 1 year lease or longer starting April 1st. Heat and hot water Is included; this apartment is incredibly quiet given its proximity to Prospect Park and has ample natural light.
Sorry only cats are allowed in the building and my cute cat does not come with the apartment either :)

Open to virtual and in person visits.

Thank you.

Fun Facts and History of Park Slope

Park Slope started out its life as many New York neighborhoods did: as farmland. However, this farmland would soon see trouble, as it was where the majority of The Battle of Long Island was fought during the American Revolution. After the war, Park Slope would remain farmland until roughly 1839, when the Brooklyn grid system was drawn up. Farmers sold their land to the new city of Brooklyn and row houses were soon built.

Park Slope was slow to develop since the area was hard to get to in the 1800's. The neighborhood itself didn't see much construction until the 1840's and 50's. However, Prospect Park was soon in development in the 1860's and 70's, leading to an…
