DESCRIPTION
This posting is for a beautiful third/top floor walk-up railroad style apartment. There are 3 other units in the building. I am being relocated for work and we will be out by February 1st. You will have the option of signing a lease for the remainder of our lease term (8 months - 10/1) or a new, 12-month lease through February 1, 2019.

The apartment features a large eat-in kitchen with a dishwasher and tons of room for a table and chairs. Brand new refrigerator, too!

The two middle rooms can be utilized as two bedrooms, although we currently have one set up as an office. One room has a very large double closet and a smaller, single closet for additional storage.

The living / dining room is approximately 23'x13', with more than enough space for an extra large couch and a full sized dining room table. We have hosted many dinner parties and can comfortably entertain 30 adults.

There is ample natural sunlight at either ends of the apartment year round. You also have the option of entering at either end of the apartment, which comes in handy when moving in furniture.

Property is managed by a realty company and are very responsive to issues that may come up.

Location couldn't be better! The apartment is about a 5-minute walk from the F/G/R trains at the 4th and 9th St stop.

The farmers' market is a block and a half away and is held every Sunday. Ample restaurants and bars within a few minutes' walking distance.

Very close to 3 grocery stores, including Whole Foods.

If you're interested, please let us know! We're happy to show off this apartment and are very, very sad to be leaving beautiful Brooklyn.

Fun Facts and History of Park Slope

Park Slope started out its life as many New York neighborhoods did: as farmland. However, this farmland would soon see trouble, as it was where the majority of The Battle of Long Island was fought during the American Revolution. After the war, Park Slope would remain farmland until roughly 1839, when the Brooklyn grid system was drawn up. Farmers sold their land to the new city of Brooklyn and row houses were soon built.

Park Slope was slow to develop since the area was hard to get to in the 1800's. The neighborhood itself didn't see much construction until the 1840's and 50's. However, Prospect Park was soon in development in the 1860's and 70's, leading to an…
