DESCRIPTION
Family of three moving to the suburbs June 1. Current lease runs through July 31, so Kibel (property management) is offering a new 1 or 2 year lease available from June 8.

This is a fantastic apartment in an exceptional building on E 84th & 1st Ave. It's 950+ SqFt with 1 bed and 1.5 baths, a 30 foot balcony that stretches the width of the entire unit, updated kitchen appliances, and an alcove dining room that can easily be converted to a 2nd bed/nursery (as we've done). This is on the 31st floor of a 32 story building with spectacular unobstructed views facing east.

The building features a rooftop pool for tenants, a true neighborhood vibe with friendly tenants, 24x6 doorman and attentive staff. Each floor only has six units. Laundry facilities on site. On the first floor of the building is a nail salon, Basics store, kids sports gym, and Starbucks. One block away from the recently opened 2nd Ave subway!

MAP
UPPER EAST SIDE

The Upper East Side has a reputation of wealth and opulence. Once home to the wealthiest New Yorkers (like the Kennedys, the Roosevelts, and the Rockefellers), the UES is filled with ornate and beautiful buildings. Today, the Upper East Side is still considered one of the more expensive neighborhoods, however, in recent years, it has begun to see younger arrivals (people in their 20s and 30s) who are finding better deals up north, away from the Lower East Side and/or hip Williamsburg.

With the completion of the 2nd Avenue train, the neighborhood is only becoming more accessible to everyone as previously the only train servicing the UEW was the 4,5,6 on Lexington Avenue. Even better, the further east you go, the cheaper the apartments get. All this is only adding on to the interest from renters who no longer have to commute for as long to get to the area.

Boundaries of Upper East Side

The Upper East Side contains some smaller neighborhoods such as Yorkville, Lenox Hill, Carnegie…
