DESCRIPTION
We're looking for a 3rd roommate to share an apartment in a midtown west luxury building. The room is available immediately but flexible on move-in. The lease goes until Oct 31st with the option to stay longer. We'd prefer someone in their mid-late 20s/early 30s who is clean, considerate of others and has a stable income. No couples. No smoking.
About the room:
The room is the biggest bedroom in the apartment, with LOTS of closet space and it's own private balcony overlooking 9th Avenue. Dimensions: approx. 15'8"x11'4", plus the private balcony. There are two double door closets with movable shelving units inside (even room for a dresser in the closet). Controllable heating/AC system in room. Room is located on the 2nd floor of the Maisonette/Townhouse. Outgoing roommate will sell some or all of the furniture at low price if interested.
About the apartment:
It's a 2bd townhouse apartment converted into a 3 bd with 1.5 baths. Rent, utilities and supplies are shared evenly among the 3 of us. We also have a cleaning person who comes once a month and does the common areas only.
About the building:
The building has a 24hr doorman, gym (on the same floor as the apt), laundry on every floor and rooftop access during the spring/summer months. Collectively, we've lived in this building for 8 years. The staff is great and very responsive. Located a block from Penn Station. Closest subways: A/C/E/7.
About us!
We're 2 females who have lived together for a little over 2 years in mid 20's and early 30's. Both of us keep very regular hours (9-8ish on average) and travel occasionally (once a month or so) for work. We aren't in the apartment too much and are looking for someone similar. Don't mind the occasional guest, but we view the apt as a place to come home to, not a party destination.

HUDSON YARDS
Nestled between Hell's Kitchen and Chelsea is a newer addition
to the Manhattan neighborhood family. Hudson Yards is a development
that broke ground in 2012 and has seen major progress within the
last few years. It attempts to entice all New Yorkers via
residential buildings, art centers, public gardens, and green
spaces.
Before Hudson Yards, there was The West Side Yard, which is used
as a storage space for the trains of the Long Island Rail Road.
Much of the land had been consolidated over the years, meaning
there was a decent amount of space that could be used for
development. The plan for mixed-use development was put forth in
2008 and the groundbreaking for 10 Hudson Yards took place in
December of 2012.
Since then, eight of the proposed sixteen buildings have been
completed, as well as a public green space. The next phase of
Hudson Yards construction will finish out the project and is
expected to be complete in 2024. Several major…
