DESCRIPTION
This is a sublet available on November 14'th and lasting until the end of February 2021 for 1 bedroom and a shared bathroom. If you'd like to renew the lease for the entire apartment, the space will be available at the end of February 2021. In total, this is a 3 bedroom, 2 full bathroom apartment. The price for this room is everything included (rent, high speed wi-fi/internet and utilities).

Awesome space in West Harlem (West 112'th and 8'th ave). 3 avenues from Columbia University (it's right up the street) & 2 blocks from Central Park!! Pre-war building, 5'th floor walk up. 2 blocks from the B/C train at 110'th street-Cathedral Parkway and 2 avenues from the 2/3 train at 110'th street.

There are 3 bedrooms and 2 full baths in the unit, one of those bedrooms will be yours. Your bathroom will be shared with my other male roommate who is very clean.

The bedroom is cozy and sun drenched! Fully furnished and currently has a queen sized bed, 2 night stands, a tv stand with a 42 inch HD TV and a large closet with both floor space and a shelf for shoes. The furniture and TV will be yours if you'd like to keep it :)  Above the bedroom is a loft space for storage of bags, boxes, or whatever you would like. The loft is rock sturdy and can hold just about anything up there. There is a ladder to get up to the loft.

The kitchen/living room is my favorite part of the apartment. We have a large kitchen with an island and bar seating for 3 people. We have plenty of kitchen equipment, plates, bowls, glasses, ect for those who love to cook. The living room is spacious with a large 50 inch tv to hook up your fire stick or roku if you would like. *We also have a medium sized dog, he is a golden retriever/chow mix. His name is Biggie and he's super friendly. He stays in my roommates room 90% of the time but loves to be pet when he comes out :)

The apartment has super high speed wi-fi for your laptop, cell phone or tv stick needs. That is included in the price as are utilities (electricity & gas).

Being on the top floor, there is access to the rooftop. It is unfinished but a cool place to hang out to get out of the house. Super quiet up there and nobody will bother you. There is also a laundry room in the basement, with 2 brand new washers and 2 dryers. Both are laundry card operated which I will leave for you with money on it. Money can be added via cash at the machine in the basement.

Both of my roommates currently work from home, they are quiet and keep their doors closed most of the time. We love chatting in the kitchen or playing music every now and then. Overall this is a peaceful place to live and the opportunity to take over a cheap lease in a really good neighborhood that is booming with restaurants and bars. Blocks from 2 nice grocery stores. Central park is right down the block, I'm probably there every other day.

Any questions, please ask! I'm open and transparent. I am moving to St. Louis for a new job and would love someone to take over my room and possibly the lease going forward if they would like. Finding a furnished room like this in this apartment and area is a steal.

Fun Facts and History of Central Harlem

Central Harlem began its life much like the rest of northern Manhattan, as farmland. Once the war ended, the rebuilding process for the area was a bit slow.

Things in the area ramped up in the 1860's and 70's for several reasons, including the destruction of a prominent black neighborhoods to make room for Central Park, railroads were built further north, and the end of the Civil War brought many black families north to look for opportunity and safety from theā€¦
