DESCRIPTION
The East Village is a vibrant and eclectic neighborhood located in the heart of Manhattan's Lower East Side. It is bordered by 14th Street to the north, Houston Street to the south, the East River to the east, and Fourth Avenue to the west. The neighborhood is known for its lively atmosphere, diverse culture, and rich history.
The streets are lined with a wide variety of restaurants, bars, cafes, boutiques, and specialty shops, offering something for everyone.
One of the most prominent features of the East Village is its vibrant nightlife scene. The neighborhood is home to some of the city's most iconic bars and music venues, including the legendary CBGB, which launched the careers of countless punk rock musicians in the 1970s.
The East Village is also known for its street art and colorful murals. Many of the buildings in the neighborhood feature striking works of art, and there are several dedicated street art tours that take visitors on a journey through the neighborhood's most impressive pieces.
In addition to its cultural attractions, the East Village is home to several parks and green spaces, including Tompkins Square Park, which features a playground, dog run, and basketball courts. The park is also a popular destination for community events, including outdoor concerts, movie screenings, and farmers' markets.
Overall, the East Village is a vibrant and diverse neighborhood with a rich history and a lively cultural scene. Whether you're looking for a great meal, an exciting night out, or simply a place to relax and enjoy the outdoors, the East Village has something for everyone.
Additionally, I have plenty of units available in Murray Hill, Midtown East, Hell's Kitchen, Gramercy, and Upper West Side etc. Including doorman and brownstone buildings with outdoor space, patios, balconies, laundry and more. If this isn't your ideal place, let me know and I'm certain I can find it!

BOWERY
Bowery is a unique neighborhood in Manhattan that's tough for
most people to define. The street itself is the oldest in the city,
and is the eastern border of the neighborhood, the western border
being Allen Street. Stretching from Hester Street up to about 4th,
this neighborhood is eclectic, artistic, and thriving.
Before the Dutch colonized the land for themselves, the Bowery
was already in use by the Lenape people who lived in the area. When
the Dutch arrived, the street was widened and farmland was placed
around it, making the area very popular for trading purposes. The
Dutch christened the street, "bouwerij."
The British conquered the settlement in 1664 and kept Bowery as
the main route in and out of the city. The area was home to a
variety of farms and manors up until around the American
Revolution. The population of the city was expanding fast, and the
estates and farms that made up the area were sold off to the city
for things like…
