DESCRIPTION
Relax through summer quarantine in a beautiful stand-alone private carriage house on Devoe and Olive in the heart of East Williamsburg just a few blocks to the Graham L.

Walk through the main building hallway to the sunny garden with a table, fireplace/chiminea, and grill. Catch some sun or sit under the table's umbrella on a hot day, have a socially distant dinner on the grill, and roast marshmallows in the chiminea at night.

The carriage house is two stories with a bathroom and an open living room and kitchen on the ground floor. Upstairs has two large bedrooms with queen beds and nice size closets. Windows in every room make the whole place bright and cozy. The entire place is furnished.

5 minute walk from Cooper Park, grocery store, and Graham Ave and Metropolitan with great restaurants and bars for take out and delivery. 25 minute walk to McCarren Park, Bedford Ave, and Whole Foods. 30 minute walk to the Williamsburg waterfront and Domino Park.

Rent is $2500/month. Ideally looking for someone to move in June 1st through Sept 1st, but we are flexible on timing.

We are a musician, a psychology student, and a record label exec who absolutely love our little house but are getting away for the summer. We take great care of our space. We do have a small dog who will of course be coming with us, but take note for any allergies as he is allowed on the furniture. (We'll clean up the hair before we leave, promise!)

Our neighbors pretty much keep to themselves, and it's very quiet in the garden for the most part.

We'll be available any time for any questions or concerns during your stay!

Fun Facts and History of Williamsburg

Originally it's own village, Williamsburg has had a long history as a home for Manhattanites seeking a less-expensive refuge across the river. Because of the convenience of the village, the population grew fast. It became the Town of Williamsburg in 1840, and evolved again into the City of Williamsburg in 1855. However, Williamsburg was soon incorporated into Brooklyn that same year.

Once Brooklyn became part of New York City in 1898, more transportation options were added, making Williamsburg very popular, especially among immigrant populations. Post-WWII, it became home to many Hasidic Jews as well as people from Puerto Rico and theā€¦
