Do you like great roommates, charming backyards, and lovely living areas? Then our house in Inman Square might be just the place!

We are three friends looking for another person to join our home. For two years we have lived in a recently renovated two-story house, just a block off Cambridge Street and yet magically peaceful and removed from the bustle. Our fourth friend has moved back home, so we have a room open for September 1st for $890*, with a one-year lease required. Utilities (gas, electric, internet) have typically averaged $200/month total ($50 per person).

Our two-story row house was renovated in 2015 and has a modern, bright, and open feel. The house and the backyard are ours alone. We have a responsive landlord, central AC, a piano, and a basement divided between storage, laundry, and an extra common room. Our bedrooms and a full bathroom are on the second floor. The first floor has a kitchen, dining room, living room, and half-bathroom.

On foot, we are 3 minutes from Inman Square, 8 minutes from Lincoln Park, 10 from Union Square, and 15 from Central Square.

Your room would be a second-floor bedroom in the front of the house, with a giant walk-in closet. The room is about 103 x 112 inches, or about 8.6 feet by 9.3 feet. This does not include the walk-in closet, which is about 42 x 67 inches, or about 3.5 feet by 5.6 feet.

We are two women and a man: a writer/software designer from the Philippines who probably owns too many books, a newly minted but non-preachy vegan and holistic health aficionada, and an English major and IT guy who loves the Fells, cooks up random meals, and can exercise restraint at times about puns.

We are cool and nice and awesome. We enjoy hanging out together, and we also get a lot out of our personal time and space. We would love to live with someone we vibe with and who's up for socially distant adventures and the occasional house dinner. We have a great community of friends in the neighborhood. The vibe of the house is friendly, respectful, and typically fairly quiet (though we love music and we occasionally blast it). We make each other laugh.

We are careful about Covid, and it is important to us to live with someone who shares our basic precautions and can communicate clearly to help set shared expectations as the pandemic evolves and new facts come to light. We enjoy connecting outdoors with our friends, but we don't hang out inside other people's homes or have others hang out in ours. We wear masks when we're out in the city, plus any time we're outside and unable to distance.

Our "new normal" routine has one of us working Monday-Friday at home, and all of us spending a fair amount of time at home during the day and in the evenings. Weeknights sometimes find us watching something together in the living room or hosting a handful of friends in the backyard for a projected movie. Weekends often include some combination of hanging out at home, bike trips, checking out a new takeout place, and driving together to some beautiful place.
