A magnificent four-story townhouse in the heart of the beautiful Crown Heights North Historic District.

The Townhouse

The townhouse has five bedrooms, four full bathrooms, and two half-bathrooms. The original charm of the century old home has not been sacrificed, even after the addition of the luxury features in the kitchen, bathroom and throughout the four stories. Original doors, wooden fixtures, and a stain glass window were all kept in place, while luxury finishes, a new laundry unit, new appliances, and more were all added! The home sits on a corner lot, and light pours through the windows throughout the day.

Off the east side of Prospect Park in Central Brooklyn lies the diverse and lively neighborhood of Crown Heights. Mostly residential, this neighborhood also boasts a vibrant nightlife and restaurant scene that makes the area popular with young adults.

This popularity only increased when train lines were extended to the area in the late 1800's.

While many of those older Victorian homes are still around, brownstone row houses were built in the early 1900's to thrust the area into the modern day. Around the 1950's Crown Heights began to see an influx of diversity with large populations of black and immigrant communities moving into the neighborhood.

The 1970's were a turbulent timeā€¦
