DESCRIPTION
I'm subletting it from August 1st, 2020 to December 31st, 2020 for $1560 x month and a $1350 of security deposit. I'm not making any profit, this is the amount that I pay monthly and the security deposit of when I first moved in. It is 4 blocks away from Prospect Park South, near the lake and rink area. It also has plenty of groceries stores, classic bodega/delis and new cool spots in a 5 minute-walk ratio. The studio is located at the Church Avenue Stop of the Q,B,2 and 5 trains. If you work in Midtown it takes around 40 min and if you work SOHO/FIDI/LES it's a 25-30 min commute.
The studio is on the 6th floor and the building DOES have an elevator. This is also the last floor, so you don't have to worry about noisy neighbors. It also faces the back so it's pretty quiet. Even though the apartment is a studio, the kitchen is separate and the bathroom is at the end of a dividing hall. This provides ample space for your bedroom/living room area with amazing lighting throughout the day. The hall has 2 full closets with upper space (swear they're good sized closets!) and a storage/cleaning supplies closet right at the entrance.
At the end of the hall is the bathroom. It has a shower/tub and also has a nice window for light and ventilation. You will have storage under the sink and in the mirror/cabinet. The apartment was remodeled before I moved in so everything is in great shape. The apartment WILL NOT BE furnished. The utilities included are water and heat, NOT INCLUDED electricity and gas. Internet, National Grid and Coned would be transferred to you. Washer & Dryer are not included, however there's a laundromat right in front of the building.

FLATBUSH
Just below Prospect Park is the residential neighborhood of
Flatbush. Quiet and calm, yet still close to the action, Flatbush
is a popular neighborhood with families and young professionals
alike due to its proximity to the park, fabulous restaurants, and
easy access to other parts of the city.
Established in 1651, Flatbush went by the name of "Midwout" when
it was still a young Dutch Colony. Once the British took over in
1664, Flatbush became the central area of the new King's County,
even being named the county seat. It would remain this way through
the 1700's and most of the 1800's being a large hub for merchants
and farmers.
Flatbush was incorporated into the larger city of Brooklyn in
1894 and subsequently turned into a residential neighborhood after
1898 when Brooklyn became a borough in the Greater New York City.
Construction on new apartment complexes, mostly mid-rise art deco
buildings, happened quickly as subway lines came to the area…
