DESCRIPTION
Beautiful brand new pre-war building located in Crown Heights just a 10-15 minute walk away from anything you could want: Several subway lines, great food. The building is a new reno, just redone less than a year ago. 4- and 5-bedroom units, all with hardwood floors and stainless steel appliances. In-unit laundry. Bathroom and kitchen are very sleek and modern.
There's a keypad outside to unlock the door, and all the units have buzzers with a video feed so you can see who is outside ringing the bell before letting anyone in. The building also has rooftop access, which offers a not-too-shabby view of Brooklyn, and some of the Manhattan skyline. This is a great place to live!
Situated in central Brooklyn, just 20 minutes from downtown Manhattan by train, Crown Heights garners a reputation for tree-lined streets, historic homes, and a slow pace of living. Bordering Bedford Stuyvesant, Crown Heights lies east of Prospect Heights and north of Prospect Lefferts Gardens

This popularity only increased when train lines were extended to the area in the late 1800's.

While many of those older Victorian homes are still around, brownstone row houses were built in the early 1900's to thrust the area into the modern day. Around the 1950's Crown Heights began to see an influx of diversity with large populations of black and immigrant communities moving into the neighborhood.

The 1970's were a turbulent timeā€¦
