DESCRIPTION
Majestic Townhouse Refuge in Lenox Hill / Sun Flooded 1BR with Private Outdoor Terrace
One-of-a-kind loft style corner unit with New York aplomb. Intersection of East 64th Street and Lexington Avenue is one of the best in New York. Central Park is 3 short blocks away, the famous shopping of Madison avenue is 2 blocks away, many major corporate headquarters (Bloomberg Building, etc.) are in very close proximity, along with plenty of taxis and subways: F/Q trains are directly across the street, and the 4,5,6, N and R are 4 blocks away.
Full second floor of the townhouse is newly renovated, has very high 10' + ceilings, and eight windows on three sides of the apartment-all with fantastically bright views. There is a private terraced step-out roof that will fit a table and several chairs for sipping drinks with friends in the open air, and incredible closets for storage that will suit all needs. Massively generous in square footage, it will accommodate a King Sized bed and can easily be converted to two bedrooms.
Could also be used as a spectacular live/work space utilizing the huge living quarters for a showroom, gallery, or part-time office (no outside signage allowed).
The bathroom, kitchen, and floors are all brand new, and a washer/dryer unit adds further convenience as part of an expansion of the stainless steel outfitted kitchen into the adjacent dining room space.
Hidden gems disappear in a heartbeat. Contact me today to set up a viewing of this exceptional exclusive, and live somewhere you'll love!

MAP
UPPER EAST SIDE
The Upper East Side has a reputation of wealth and opulence.
Once home to the wealthiest New Yorkers (like the Kennedys, the
Roosevelts, and the Rockefellers), the UES is filled with ornate
and beautiful buildings. Today, the Upper East Side is still
considered one of the more expensive neighborhoods, however, in
recent years, it has begun to see younger arrivals (people in their
20s and 30s) who are finding better deals up north, away from the
Lower East Side and/or hip Williamsburg.
With the completion of the 2nd Avenue train, the neighborhood is
only becoming more accessible to everyone as previously the only
train servicing the UEW was the 4,5,6 on Lexington Avenue. Even
better, the further east you go, the cheaper the apartments get.
All this is only adding on to the interest from renters who no
longer have to commute for as long to get to the area.
The Upper East Side contains some smaller neighborhoods such as
Yorkville, Lenox Hill, Carnegie…
