DESCRIPTION
Massive bedroom available in a two bedroom doorman/elevator condo building. Lots of natural light in the bedrooms. Laundry in building. The bedroom is unfurnished but the rest of the apartment is furnished. The bedroom is big enough for a king size bed, wardrobe, desk, shelves, etc. There are photos of my bedroom for size reference. They are the same square footage but different shapes.
Great location right on the border of Sutton Place in Midtown East. Two blocks to the train (NQR,456, F) between the 59th and Lex and the 53rd and Lex stops. There are City Bike docks within two blocks in every direction. The building is few blocks from Bloomingdales, Whole Foods, Central Park, and easy walking distance to Columbus Circle. Lot of great restaurants in the neighborhood.
I'm looking for a roommate who is friendly, neat, likes to hang out occasionally but also okay doing their own thing. Also someone who is taking Covid precautions in their everyday life. I'm totally fine if partners stay over occasionally. LGBTQ friendly. BLM. No smoking please!
I'm pretty laid back and love a good (terrible) Hallmark movie and watching cooking shows on Sunday morning with unending coffee. I like to keep things neat in the apartment. I'm that person who makes her bed every day and cleans the kitchen every day , but only dusts and vacuums every few weeks.
I am working from home for the foreseeable future (non profit arts in education social justice org) and have an office space set up in my bedroom.

Stretching from 40th street to 59th and hugged by the East River
and Fifth Avenue, Midtown East is a bustling business district by
day but quiet refuge by night. With some of Manhattan's most famous
architecture, Midtown East is an elegant mixture of old and new,
celebrating the luxury of the city while preserving its
history.
Midtown East, like the rest of Manhattan, was historically
farmland during the early days. Affluent families were drawn to the
region because of its peaceful surroundings and convenient access
to the East River, which made the area ideal for agriculture.
During the 1800's and early 1900's, Midtown East became a
hotspot for industry, welcoming factories, breweries, and
slaughterhouses. With industry came workers, mostly Irish and
German immigrants who contributed to the area with projects such as
the construction of Saint Patrick's Cathedral in 1879.
By the time Grand Central Terminal was built in 1913, the
