DESCRIPTION
The Space
You get the larger of the two bedrooms in a prewar. The walls are nice and thick so it's totally possible to not realize the other person is even home! There is a dishwasher in the kitchen and plenty of windows, though not a lot of direct sun (you will appreciate this in the summer). Comes complete with two cats, Stiv, who is very affectionate, and Ali, who will hide from you at first and then become a drama queen. There's an actual window ledge in the bathroom making it perfect for shower beers.
In this house we believe black lives matter, women's rights are human rights, no one is illegal, science is real, love is love, and goddammit be kind. If you are going to do anything illegal I want plausible deniability. I don't think the place is really big enough for another animal, but I really hope you want to love mine. If you are in to darkwave I will invite you out dancing with me. If not, that's cool too

CROWN HEIGHTS
Off the east side of Prospect Park in Central Brooklyn lies the
diverse and lively neighborhood of Crown Heights. Mostly
residential, this neighborhood also boasts a vibrant nightlife and
restaurant scene that makes the area popular with young adults.
Crown Heights began its life a bit later than most Brooklyn
neighborhoods, becoming a residential area only after the
revolutionary war. However, once it got going in the early 1800's,
it quickly became a haven for secondary homes of the wealthy King's
County elite. This popularity only increased when train lines were
extended to the area in the late 1800's.
While many of those older Victorian homes are still around,
brownstone row houses were built in the early 1900's to thrust the
area into the modern day. Around the 1950's Crown Heights began to
see an influx of diversity with large populations of black and
immigrant communities moving into the neighborhood.
The 1970's were a turbulent timeā¦
