True to its name, Greenwood Heights is a lush, wooded area
located in Central Brooklyn. This residential, working-class
neighborhood is located in close proximity to Park Slope, Sunset
Park, and South Slope, some of Brooklyn's most affluent
neighborhoods. Although Greenwood Heights used to be primarily
filled with two-family homes, the influx of residents moving away
from the neighborhood has caused a spike in construction of condos.
However, due to height restrictions, Greenwood Heights still
remains a relatively flat neighborhood. Those looking to find their
new home within Greenwood Heights will soon enjoy the peace and
quietness of the neighborhood while also living within a short
easily accessible distance to Manhattan.
