DESCRIPTION
Required Move-in Date: 7-1-18
Utilities: Included
Master Bedroom: $1,325
Furniture Available For Sale As Well!
I will be moving out of a 3BR/1.5BA apartment and need someone to sublet the lease from July 1, 2018 - December 31, 2018. At that point you will be able to extend the lease at your discretion. All utilities included in rent!
LOCATION: The apartment is a high-rise on the northeastern tip of Central Park - literally across the street. Apartment is pretty large, with a proper living room, dining area, plenty of closet space (with a shared walk-in closet from the living room).
ROOMMATES: There is one other person currently living at the place who will remain until the end of the lease. She is a very pleasant, quiet, early-30's nurse that is rarely home except nights. Since there are two bedrooms in this unit, one other person will be moving in on Jul 1.
AMENITIES: Huge laundry room in building, a car park is attached to the building. The 2/3 and 6 trains are a 5 minute walk. The C train is a 10 minute walk. There's a balcony with views of Harlem from the 15th floor. Gyms nearby, grocery store around the corner. A bar/restaurant right nextdoor.
ROOM AVAILABLE:. The large room is $1325 and offers a lot of natural light through 2 large windows. The room offers enough space to have a Queen Size bed, tufted sitting chair, work desk, desk chair, and bookshelf. The bedroom also offers a very large closet.
We are on a quick turn-around timeline, and thus are showing the apartment starting on Sat (6/23/18).

HARLEM
Harlem is enormous. Stretching from the East and Harlem Rivers
all the way to the Hudson, Harlem has three micro-neighborhoods
that make up this huge area. East or Spanish Harlem is vibrant and
colorful, Central Harlem is energetic and cultural, and West Harlem
is more suburban and chill. From 110th to 155th, Harlem has
something for everyone.
Harlem is so huge that each spot has its own unique history. For
example, West and Central Harlem were burned to the ground during
the American Revolution, whereas East Harlem wasn't really
developed until the 1860's. However, one fact remains consistent
for all of Harlem: That the population of the area exploded once a
prominent Black neighborhood was destroyed to make room for Central
Park.
The Harlem Renaissance began around WWI and the cultural impact
the neighborhood would have on the world began. Becoming a major
player in the worlds of art, literature, music, and civil rights,
Harlem became a mecca for…
