DESCRIPTION
This 3 room duplex apartment is gorgeous. Newly renovated, this unit includes hard wood floors, high ceilings, exposed brick, and large windows allowing for natural light to fill the rooms. The kitchen is equipped with stainless steel appliances, granite counters, and plenty of storage space. There is plenty of space for a queen bed and furniture with room for more. There is a marble bathroom and washer/dryer in unit as well. This is a must see apartment!

This apartment has the luxury of being located within steps of The Summit Bar, GG's, and so much more just around the corner. This location is one of a kind.

Slightly dodgy in a desirable way, the Lower East Side exudes an uncanny charm. Cramped spaces, rusty fire escapes, and gritty alleyways only add to its artful appeal. An eclectic neighborhood grown from immigrant roots, the Lower East Side supplies ample excitement around every corner-whether you're grabbing coffee at one of its trendy cafes or partying scandalously until the break of dawn.

Fun Facts and History of Lower East Side

Occupied by the Lenape people before Dutch colonization, the Lower East Side was perfect for farming and agriculture due to its proximity to the river. Over time, however, the area was made into a residential neighborhood to support the growing population of the city and for the strategic location of Corlears Hook, a notable site that sailors used for navigation.

Starting after the American Revolution, the area became very popular with immigrants of German descent. The new micro-neighborhood of "Little Germany" was established but, as things tend to happen in NYC, they were soon sharing the area with large Italian Jewish populations.
