Large and comfortable three bedroom apartment located 1/2 block from Prospect Park. The apartment has hardwood floor throughout. The lower floor of this duplex has a good sized living room that has a working fireplace and exposed brick. Two of the bedrooms are located on the main floor. Each one of them has a good closet and can easily fit a queen sized bed. The separate kitchen has lots of cabinets and a dishwasher. There is a spacious area that could be used as part of the living room or used as a separate dining area. High ceilings. The upstairs features a master bedroom that is big enough for a king sized bed and more. It also has a huge private deck with 360 City views. There's storage and washer/dryer in the basement.
On the west side of Prospect Park, wedged between Prospect Heights and Gowanus, lies Park Slope, the chill neighborhood beloved by young professionals and artists. This quiet neighborhood is full of fun bars, restaurants, and unique stores, all of which make living here a lot of fun.
Park Slope started out its life as many New York neighborhoods did: as farmland. However, this farmland would soon see trouble, as it was where the majority of The Battle of Long Island was fought during the American Revolution. After the war, Park Slope would remain farmland until roughly 1839, when the Brooklyn grid system was drawn up. Farmers sold their land to the new city of Brooklyn and row houses were soon built.
