Short-term until we move out in November, with the option of renewing the lease on your own

ABOUT THE BUILDING/ROOM

We are a small family of 3. Our daughter is 1 year old, so baby friendly is a must:) she's very friendly and we're very laid back - we're looking for someone to match our vibe for the next couple of months. The building is amazing: tons of amenities and a super tight-knit community. Infamous rooftop with beautiful/unobstructed Manhattan views, laundry room, movie theater, gym, tree covered courtyard, and a wood-working studio to name a few. You can visit castlebraid.com for more pics.

The entire apt is spacious and full of light, while the master bedroom itself is comparable to a studio apt in BK/NYC. The room easily fits a king sized bed plus side tables, a sitting area and dressers. Room boasts a private hallway with 2 very large closets connecting to a private bathroom with shower. Pictured furniture in the bedroom is not included, however it can be partially-furnished for you if needed!

The building is in walking distance from the L at Morgan or Jefferson, and the JMZ at Myrtle-Boradway. The neighborhood has amazing options for dining/coffee shops and bars, colorful art adorns the street and park life is now thriving.

ABOUT US

We are super laidback, have the most amazing little one year old ever (and also the best turtle ever!) Mama's a Biology Teacher & Doula, Papa's in the Restaurant Business, and our One Year old is into dancing, puppies, and at the moment, all of her shoes.)

The apartment has a low-key yet lively - and most importantly, friendly/familial atmosphere. Since we have a little one, we are often listening to and dancing to music, learning about the world around us (out at parks and traveling 🙂

We're looking for someone who is mature, professional, kind & friendly - we'd love to know more about you and will happily answer more questions about ourselves and the space to the right candidate.

BUSHWICK

Surrounded by Williamsburg, Bedford-Stuyvesant, Ridgewood Queens, East New York and Brownsville, Bushwick is a trendy area beloved by artists and young professionals. With a hopping nightlife and some great restaurants, it's no wonder why people love this neighborhood.

Fun Facts and History of Bushwick

Some of the roads traversed by hipsters and artists on their bikes today are trails cut by Native Americans. Taken over by the Dutch, the land became food and tobacco farms, and then transitioned into an industrial hotspot in the 1800's.

The factories of Bushwick primarily produced sugar, oil, and various chemicals. These factories brought many immigrants, especially German ones, to the neighborhood. These immigrants opened many breweries and Bushwick was soon named as the "beer capital of the Northeast."

During the late 1800's, Bushwick garnered more of an Italian population as well, though industry still dominated the neighborhood until after WWII, when many of the factories…
