DESCRIPTION
Sublet a sunny South facing, 5th floor 1 BR on the same block as your train into the city (Franklin stop C-line or a quick Uber or Lyft to downtown Manhattan). Building is 8 floors with 5 units per floor. Dog friendly. This is unfurnished. 1 BR can fit a Queen Size Bed WITH space for a dresser, bookshelf, and exercise bike, tall ceiling to floor windows in BR and Living Room. A/C and Heat can be controlled separately for two rooms. Setup for FIOS internet. Two small coat closets but deep and lots of height (I can leave my Elfa closet shelves for free). Free Wifi on the 1st floor only. Pics are of actual unit + professional pics from the building of a similar unit. Floor plan is the same layout.
Everything you need is in the same one-block radius: your train, two grocery stores (Co-Op & Key Foods), liquor store, brunch spots (Glorietta Baldie), local neighborhood pubs (The Fly and Doris), yoga (Heal Haus), laundry, and a gated park for your kids & basketball court for your socially distant outdoor workout (also a 5-min walk to the post office, local vet, and hair salon). I've lived here solo for two years, never had a single problem but due to work, looking to sublet my apartment. My neighbors are nice and quiet. The private patio attached to the apartment is so nice to sit and chill on the summer or light fall day. The South facing side brings in SO MUCH natural light and tucked at the corner of the building so you're away from the street or elevator noise. There is a beautiful rooftop access with plenty of seating and BBQ access views of downtown Manhattan up to Empire State Building. The basement level has a bike storage room, a smaller gym (two flatscreens, two treads, two benches, a bike, plenty of weights, and a weight machine), and laundry room (one flatscreen, $1.25 per load). The main entrance floor has a common area to work or read or host your friends (one huge flatscreen), there are elevator and stairs access (walk up to the 5th floor just fine), and there is a private package room (I order a lot from Amazon and never had a problem with my packages). Neighbors are nice and the building porter is also very friendly and helpful. Prefer someone to take over my lease (lease ends May 2021 with the option to renew) asap or flexible, or open to a short term renter as well (I can be flexible).

BEDFORD-STUYVESANT
Commonly known as "Bed-Stuy", this densely populated
neighborhood in Brooklyn is a busy residential and commercial area.
Surrounded by Clinton Hill, Crown Heights, Bushwick and
Willaimsburg, the neighborhood has an easy commute to Manhattan and
typically offers lower rent than its neighbors, making this a
popular place for young professionals and students. Those looking
to rent in this neighborhood can expect to find their home on
beautifully tree-lined, brownstone filled streets.
Bedford-Stuyvesant is actually made up of several
micro-neighborhoods. One of them, Stuyvesant Heights, takes its
name from the last Governor of the Dutch colony of New Amsterdam,
Peter Stuyvesant. The other half of the name, Bedford, comes from
one of the first major colonies in New Amsterdam. While Bedford was
a major settlement, Stuyvesant Heights was largely farmland, and
that was the relationship between the two settlements until after
the Revolutionary…
