DESCRIPTION
Listing description:
WHAT I LOVE!
I love the view and location of this apartment. It's located in a great spot in Harlem, right near the Harlem Hospital and Schomburg Museum. 24-hour doorman, 2 spacious closets, a trash shoot in the hallway by the elevator on every floor (recycling has to be taken to the basement), and new washers/dryers in the laundry room which is located in the basement.
APARTMENT SIZE:
432 sq ft. I have a queen-size bed. The space could fit a king-size bed. The length of my sofa is 90". The last photo shows how my apartment is currently set up and there is a small nightstand on the other side of the sofa. As you can see, the space is larger than most studios.
LOCATION!
This apartment is located near the 2/3 (2 blocks), B/C & 4/5/6 (10 min walk), and many buses. There are multiple grocery stores, including one right outside of the building and Whole Foods nearby. Lots of restaurants and shopping along 125th St.
REASSIGNMENT REQUIREMENTS
A security deposit of one month's rent is required. The apartment will be turned over to you as-is meaning that the landlord will only change the locks and mailbox key. The landlord will require you to submit an application and pay a $20 application fee. The apartment is rent-stabilized. You should be able to renew your lease when this one is over.

Central Harlem is home to some of the best food, entertainment, and
cultural institutions in the city which is why the folks who live
here are so proud of the neighborhood.
Central Harlem began its life much like the rest of northern
Manhattan, as farmland. A bit more densely packed than the rest of
the farmland in the area, the British made sure to burn it to the
ground during the American Revolution as American forces retreated
off the island. Once the war ended, the rebuilding process for the
area was a bit slow.
Things in the area ramped up in the 1860's and 70's for several
reasons, including the destruction of a prominent black
neighborhoods to make room for Central Park, railroads were built
further north, and the end of the Civil War brought many black
families north to look for opportunity and safety from the…
