Like other New Yorkers, you\u2019re likely utilizing the city\u2019s public transportation on a daily basis to get around New York City. One of these options includes the subway system, which runs through the different parts of the city, from the Bronx, Manhattan, Queens, to Brooklyn. Folks who need to commute daily to work will often choose to live in a neighborhood that has an NYC subway stop that directly connects to work. During the last month, we spent time going over the various train routes and neighborhoods along those particular subway lines. We also covered the 7 and the L train route in our last article. Today, we\u2019re moving on to the orange B, D, F, M train route by starting off with a discussion on both the local and express MTA B train and the best neighborhoods to live in on its route.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

B train stops NYC<\/span><\/h1>\n

There are a total of 9 stops in the Bronx, 19 stops in Manhattan, and 9 stops in Brooklyn for the B train route. The B train route starts in the Bronx at the Bedford Park Blvd stop, then makes its way south through to Manhattan. The route continues to work its way towards the southeast side of lower Manhattan until Grand Street. It then crosses over to Brooklyn and arrives at its first Brooklyn stop at DeKalb Av station. From there, the B train splits from the D train and goes southwest through central Brooklyn until it arrives at its terminal station at Brighton Beach.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

\u00a0In order from the Bronx, Manhattan, to Brooklyn is a list of stops that the B train stops at. We\u2019ve specifically pointed out stops that services both the local and express B train. For your convenience, we\u2019ve also marked the stops that are ADA accessible.<\/span><\/p>\n
