DESCRIPTION
If it s good enough for Batman, it s probably good enough for you! Built in 1930, this historic piece of the Chicago skyline has been everything from a bank to a speakeasy to the famed Gotham City in one of Detective Comics (DC) Batman movies. Today, it has been re-imagined into some of the most well-located luxury apartments in Chicago s Loop. Located just steps away from the Y in the Chicago River, it s like being 5 minutes to everything. Cross the Wells Street bridge and you are at the Merchandise Mart and the
River North neighborhood. Head south or east and you ll have easy access to the Lake, the Loop and all of the CTA trains. Just over the River to the west, you are a short walk to the Ogilvie Transportation Center and the West Loop neighborhood. On-site, take advantage of the 24-hour fitness center, roof deck, and Pressbox dry cleaning service.
Inside, the apartments offer either hardwood flooring or carpeting, gas ranges, and dishwashers. On-site laundry facilities are also super convenient with few select units that offer in-unit laundry.
If you have a furry friend or two, cats and dogs are accepted throughout, with some breed and weight restrictions. For the two-wheeled commuters, convenient bike storage is available on-site.

THE LOOP
Chances are if you've been to Chicago, you've spent some time in
the Loop. There's so much to do that you may find yourself renting
an apartment and calling it home for a while. According to the most
recent census, 29,283 other people already do. Not only is The Loop
the central business district; Chicago's street numbering system
originates in the Loop at the intersection of State Street and
Madison Street. It is undeniably Chicago's epicenter.
In 1803 the U.S. Army erected Fort Dearborn on the south bank of
the Chicago River, near where the Michigan Avenue Bridge is today.
The expansion of rail transportation during 1800's gave way to
Chicago becoming the nation's railway hub. In 1884 the world's
first skyscraper, the Home Insurance Building, was built here,
supported by a structural steel frame. Today The Loop is home to
scores of skyscrapers, most notably, the Willis Tower, once the
tallest building in the world.
