Apartment: the apartment is a 2BD 2BTH and I am looking to rent out 1BD and 1BTH to a roommate. The common area is fully furnished and the kitchen is supplied with all utensils, pots, pans, etc. I also have a flat screen TV with Comcast. The place is essentially move in ready! I recently installed new hardwood floors and fresh paint in 2015. The total sqft of the apartment is just under 1000.

Rent:
1BD and 1BTH condos in Parc Reston are being rented for around $1,400/month. I am asking for $1,200. Additionally, splitting utilities with a roommate can save a lot of money over a year.

Utilities:
The $1,200 includes water, trash removal, and a monthly cleaning service. It does not include electricity and Comcast (internet and TV). Electricity ranges anywhere from $50-$130 depending on the month (winter months being more than summer). Internet and cable costs $80. So your total monthly cost would be around:
$1,200 (Rent)
$40-$50 (Electricity)
$40 (Internet and Cable)
Roughly $1,300/month

Location:
The apartment is located within walking distance to Reston Town Center and 3-5 minutes driving distance to the Wiehle Metro station. It is also very close to the Dulles Toll Road which is nice if you travel frequently or need to commute into DC. If you like to go out, you are in luck! The apartment is within walking distance of the Reston Town Center, home to may restaurants including: Mortons, McCormicks and Schmicks, Jacksons, American Tap Room, Rio Grande, The Counter, etc. There is always something going on in the Town Center including: Oktoberfest, Taste of Reston, Wine Tasting Festivals, art festivals, etc.

The apartment is a unit offered at a monthly price of $1,200. The person posting the listing did not specify that any pets were allowed. It may be the case that pets are ok and the manager simply has not yet filled out all the details.
