RentHop's ranking system is built around the HopScore, a (1-100)
number given to each listing that covers 3 aspects:

Listing quality and accuracy

Agent reputation and engagement

Listing recency and freshness
Listings with higher HopScores will appear earlier in search results and receive
more renter exposure.
While logged into RentHop as an agent, you can see each listing's HopScore. Renters won't see it.

Open vs Exclusive Listings
RentHop is both open and exclusive friendly - you can advertise any combination of both in your account.
In addition to any listings you or your brokerage may already have, RentHop
maintains a searchable and up-to-date
Open Listings Bank.
You can copy relevant listings to your own account and, upon adding your own description and/or photos,
start advertising them immediately.

In addition to hurting your HopScore, RentHop will caution renters when browsing low-quality listings.

▼ Photos identical to another building
▼ Price is suspiciously low
Agent Profile
Under the
Profile and Settings section of your account, fill
in as much info as you can. This builds trust and gives renters a better idea of who you are.
Having a complete agent profile will boost your Hopscores.
Uploading a quality profile photo is especially important.

Reply Rate
Agents who consistently respond to leads within 9 hours (don't worry, the nightime period between 11pm - 8am doesn't count) will receive a boost to their HopScores.
RentHop only cares about the very first reply, and you can reply via text, phone, the RentHop website, or the RentHop App.
If a lead doesn't warrant / need a reply, simply use the Mark as Done button.

Renter Reviews
If you've had a good experience with a renter, go to the
Reviews
section of your account and request a review!

Reviews give you another layer of credibility and also adds a small boost to your Hopscores.
Listing Lifecycle
Listings cost 2 Pro Credits to post and stay active for 7 days, but their freshness and HopScore will steadily decrease over time (reflecting the fast-paced NYC market).
Listings can be refreshed and kept active by:

Reposting: Resets freshness / HopScore for 7 more days (2 Pro Credits)

Featuring: Reposts the listing and gives it a huge one-time boost to HopScore
and visibility for 7 days (20 Pro Credits)

Repost Scheduler
To save time, you can schedule reposts for your listings ahead of time. Most successful agents typically repost their listings 4x - 6x a week.
This feature is available with any active Pro Plan.
When managing a large portfolio of listings, a good strategy is to focus on a smaller set of your
best / most promising listings.
Reposting and featuring these listings frequently will yield better results than spreading your Pro Credits thinly across all your listings.
