About Me
For Nora Beyrent, real estate is in her blood. "I was born into a long line of real estate brokers and developers who loved their professions," she says. "Growing up in that environment, I've had a passion for the real estate business as long as I can remember." Originally from Naples, Florida, Nora has embraced the opportunity to immerse herself in the New York City real estate community and its many unique, vibrant neighborhoods. "I enjoy finding out the scoop on how the greatest city in the world functions," she says. "There is no real estate market like it, and I truly appreciate getting to see new properties every day and meeting the clients and professionals that make the industry tick." When she first moved to New York City, Nora rented in Chelsea for her first two years before buying a condominium on Thompson Street in Greenwich Village. This first-hand experience helped her understand how buyers and sellers think, knowledge she has carried with her on every deal since. "You cannot underestimate the importance of genuinely listening to your clients and putting yourself in their shoes," she says. "This is the key to understanding how your clients want to be treated and ultimately delivering the service and results that they seek." An active and respected real estate professional, Nora is also an accomplished artist who has spent a large portion of her life pursuing this additional passion. She originally moved to New York City to pursue a Masters in Fine Arts, graduating with an MFA from the School of Visual Arts in the spring of 2011. Currently, Nora maintains a studio in SoHo which she frequents to work on her portfolio of paintings. In addition, she also specialized in violin performance at Rollins College where she earned her Bachelor of Arts Degree in Music. After graduating, she spent time teaching music to kindergarten through 5th grade students at Rosemont Elementary School in the Orlando, Florida public school system. Nora is a member of the the Von Liebig Art Center and the MOMA. She is also an avid runner and member of the New York Roadrunners who has completed many races including several ½ marathons and two New York City Marathons since moving here. She also enjoys scuba diving and taking her dogs to Washington Square Park.
