Hailing from a Dutch immigrant family, Betty Prinsen naturally loves the rich Dutch history of NYC. Having lived in Canada and Buffalo, NY, she arrived in the Big Apple after receiving her BA from Vassar College and later, obtained her MA from Columbia University's Teachers College. She was a regional professional dancer and had her own company, Ballet en Noir in NYC. Betty also served on the Board of Directors of the Eglevsky Ballet in Long Island and the Ilya Gaft Dance Theatre in NYC. Eventually, she moved into the financial and legal realms where her "administrative genius" quickly appeared and was developed further. Betty utilized those skills and developed a few more while working as a personal assistant for a high profile NYC family and their family foundation.

Having been a fundraiser for three dance companies, Betty is well versed with the concerns and negotiations for acquiring funds for a project, similar to obtaining monies for the purchase of a home or ascertaining a budget to rent an apartment. Betty uses her dance discipline and powers of communication, organization, efficiency, research, analysis, plus Dutch pragmatism and care into locating the perfect home for her clients.
