There is no single other broker who so readily navigates the dynamic and challenging arena that is New York City real estate. Bernie helped me and 3 roommates find our first place, all 3 of us were new to NYC and he was ridiculously helpful! The last few days were especially tricky when we found out the security deposit was double what we expected, but Bernie told us we could wait to pay him his fee so that we could afford the extra deposit. He's great!

Bernie was extremely helpful through the entire apt hunt process, which could be a nightmare in NYC. While the original apt posting we were responding to was already rented out by the time my roommate and I contacted Bernie, he listened to what we were looking for and took our maximum budget into account. Within a day he contacted us with a listing that had just come on the market that met all our specs and was within budget. He was flexible with apt viewing times since we both had crazy schedules, he was sure to point out both the good and bad things about the apt. He wasn't just trying to rent an apt--he actually cared that we would be happy in our new place. The lease signing process was seamless and he was extremely responsive to all our questions, even late at night. Will certainly call Bernie again when it's time to move.

Bernie was very helpful in accommodating to my needs as a potential tenant. He also always tried to be understanding to my conditions, attentive, and able to provide effective suggestions for any concerns I had.
Bernie also offered a ride to and from Ikea to get the furniture I needed, which was an enormous help as I would have to pay a huge delivery fee otherwise. Along the way he would answer questions I had and recommended good food around the city.

This was my first time using an agent while searching for an apartment and it will definitely not be the last. Bernie was great to work with. He was super accommodating in working around three schedules while also being aware of how much time my roommates and I actually had to look at places. We ended up having competition for the apartment that we were applying for but Bernie was very helpful in getting together the application and supporting documents for us and our guarantors (5 applications!). Luckily we got the apartment, and are moving in this weekend! The whole process was painless and Bernie is super nice and a real pleasure to work with. Bernie did an amazing job helping me and my wife find the right apartment! We lived in PA and we submitted our application and the next day approved us. When we arrived at apartment he took us in his SUV and showed us the neighborhood n parks near us. I don't know any real estate agent who takes there time to drive there clients around. Good job Bernie.
