Testimonials:
"Barry was a huge help in helping me find, and get, the apartment I wanted. He was enthusiastic, took steps over and beyond what I had expected, and was always willing to answer the (seemingly endless) questions I had. I thoroughly recommend him. My apartment is phenomenal, and I never would have found the place if it hadn't been for his suggestion. Five stars."-James
"Barry Herbst was professional, efficient, and just as excited as I was to find myself a new apartment. My roommates and I had all studied abroad first semester and had very limited time to find ourselves the perfect three bedroom within our price range (between our parents, our taste, and our early move-in date, this seemed nearly impossible). We had contacted many brokers in hope of finding the one that will show us our ideal apartment. After meeting with one or two brokers and seeing some truly terrible apartments, we came in contact with Barry. My roommates and I literally had no hope left in finding something normal within our price range and finally we started regaining hope and sanity. We immediately fell in love with the area and the apartment, it was within our budget, and we were able to move in before we started classes. This success is all owed to Barry. He was there with us every step of the way. He went with us on several occasions to look at the apartment (since the three of us were unable to plan to see them at the same time), went with us to every signing and handed in all of our documents even if we were unable to go ourselves. He truly made this process much less stressful and within two short weeks we signed a lease on our new apartment. I highly recommend him!"-Dana

MIDTOWN EAST
Stretching from 40th street to 59th and hugged by the East River
and Fifth Avenue, Midtown East is a bustling business district by
day but quiet refuge by night. With some of Manhattan's most famous
architecture, Midtown East is an elegant mixture of old and new,
celebrating the luxury of the city while preserving its
history.
Midtown East, like the rest of Manhattan, was historically
farmland during the early days. Affluent families were drawn to the
region because of its peaceful surroundings and convenient access
to the East River, which made the area ideal for agriculture.
During the 1800's and early 1900's, Midtown East became a
hotspot for industry, welcoming factories, breweries, and
slaughterhouses. With industry came workers, mostly Irish and
German immigrants who contributed to the area with projects such as
the construction of Saint Patrick's Cathedral in 1879.
By the time Grand Central Terminal was built in 1913, the
neighborhood…
